Electric vehicle firm expands to organic clothing, sustainable furniture and other clean lifestyle products
WHITE PLAINS, New York, March 27, 2006 – Electric Transportation Solutions, LLC, a virtual department store of electric vehicles (www.electrictransport.org) launched the ETS Energy Store (www.etsenergy.com) today dedicated to selling organic and sustainable lifestyle products from clothing to furniture.
ETS President and Managing Member Seth Leitman said “ETS strongly believes in purchasing products that are eco-friendly, sustainable and renewable. Whether it is for your electric vehicle or your home, ETS wants to help you be as clean and green as possible. This new store sells renewable energy products (solar and wind), sustainable products and great eco-friendly gifts.”
Leitman adds, “It really made sense to expand the name of Electric Transportation Solutions to ETS and to create a brand which provides alternative energy and sustainable products from the soap you use to the car you drive. ETS Energy Store really puts everything together. The ETS Energy Store motto really sums up the whole brand – Shift Your Energy To A Cleaner Way of Life™.”
“Again we shopped the market for the very best organic and sustainable products to sell at competitive prices,” Leitman said. “Our e-commerce marketing strategy allows us to keep prices low and selection high – and it fits well with the psychographics of the customer, who embraces sustainability, organic products and a clean, green environment.”
The company will also offer consulting services on renewable power toward its goal of eventually making all power renewable. With 60 years’ of combined experience in the field, its experts provide technological solutions for powering vehicles from wind and solar sources, as well as methods to return power to the electric grid.
Leitman was a leader of New York State’s aggressive alternative-fuel vehicle programs. He created the nation’s largest private-public partnership effort, which brought 3,500 electric and low-emission vehicles to the state. Seth was the lead manager of the NYPA/TH!NK Clean Commute Program which under his leadership expanded from 3 to 100 vehicles. He also led and worked with multiple state and local agencies to place over 1,000 GEM and TH!NK Neighbor low speed vehicles for their respective donation programs to meet Zero Emission Vehicle credits for New York State. Also, he was also the lead project manager for the Clean Fueled Bus Program for the Clean Air / Clear Water Bond Act which provided over $100 million in incremental cost funding for transit operators to purchase alternative-fueled buses.
Leitman first launched the Electric Transportation Solutions, LLC website in 2004 to develop the electric vehicle market worldwide.
