Granite Hacarmel buys electric scooter company

The company said that the acquisition was part of its strategy to expand its activity in the cleantech and vehicles industries.

Azrieli Group subsidiary Granite Hacarmel Investments Ltd. (TASE: GRNT) has acquired Eco Electric Vehicles Ltd. for NIS 700,000, for the purpose of setting up a new cleantech subsidiary, Global Eco Ltd. Eco Electric Vehicles imports electric scooters, which are recharged from the electricity grid.

Granite Hacarmel will own 51% of Global Eco and provide it with a NIS 2.9 million owners loan. The company said that the acquisition was part of its strategy to expand its activity in the cleantech and vehicles industries.
