During early September of this year, I attended the launch of a solar installation at Solomon Schecther. It was supported by Robison Energy and Mercury Solar. They also had a fair and one of the organizations that were there was Jewish Heart For Africa. Jewish Heart for Afirca brings sustainable israeli technologies to african villages.
Today, one the eve of Hannukah, I received an email from the Jewish Heart For Africa that “to date 23 projects have been completed since 2008 providing 70,000 solar lights to African homes.”
So now in these African villges, every day is a festival of lights.
