New York’s Tech Valley – Not As Green As It Could Be.

Where the World Innovates

The State of New York has spent over $13 billion invested and growing, New York’s Tech Valley.  This Tech Valley is located in eastern, upstate New York, is the premier location for innovative, high technology companies. As a global leader in high-technology research and development, Tech Valley produces a world-class workforce, shovel ready sites and competitive incentives to ensure a company’s success. With breathtaking scenic beauty, cultural heritage, and exciting recreational opportunities, Tech Valley is a rich and diverse region for quality living.

This link will take you to the map of the State of New York and all the Tech centers.  While most of it is in the Albany area, they are located Statewide and none of them are Green.

While $13 billion has been invested, there is a need to utilize more funding for green companies.  These companies are one of the leading aspects of the increase in our GDP according to the recent Green Jobs report released by the Federal government.

Therefore, let’s get serious and let’s get green!
