While I was at the Detroit Auto Show for Ford Motor Company (not paid just comped room, hotel and travel) if Tesla was not in my sites I would have not helped the LARGER electric vehicle community.
Therefore, when I went over there it was cool to see their spot. As you see below, Tesla gave a detailed look yet at the Model S. This is their primary car for more than just two people.
The Model S was engineered from the ground up as an electric car, like I suggest in my book Build Your Own Electric Vehicle.
At the North American International Auto Show in Detroit, Tesla introduced its excellence in vehicle engineering.
“We’ve engineered Model S to be a great driver’s car,” says Peter Rawlinson, VP of Engineering, Tesla. “Suspension, aerodynamics, and the marriage of the battery pack to the body structure distinguish Model S as the superior vehicle of its class.”
To date, Tesla already has over 3,500 Model S reservations. The car will begin production in late 2012 in Fremont, CA.
