ConEdison Solutions, one of the country’s leading energy services companies, has named Ralph A. Moore to serve as the company’s Manager of Sales in Virginia.

Mr. Moore, who has held various leadership positions within public school systems in Virginia, will serve the Virginia market in support of ConEdison Solutions‘ full array of energy services.  These services help government and educational entities conserve energy, lower energy bills, upgrade facilities, and promote sustainability and environmental quality.

“Institutions nationwide seek smart and sustainable solutions when it comes to energy use and energy conservation,” said James J. Dixon, Vice President of Energy Services, for ConEdison Solutions.  “School systems and government entities in the region will benefit from Ralph Moore’s wide experience as they work together to devise intelligent energy management strategies.”

ConEdison Solutions‘ energy services clients nationwide include government facilities, universities, school districts and hospitals.  The company delivers energy services to many institutional customers through Energy Savings Performance Contracts (ESPC).  These customized contracts allow energy users to replace inefficient and high-maintenance energy systems with state-of-the-art, energy-efficient upgrades, without investing capital or assuming budgetary risk.

With extensive experience in the Virginia public school system, Mr. Moore has a proven record of success in identifying, developing, and nurturing relationships with educational leaders, community organizations and trade associations.

He most recently served as Assistant Superintendent for Administration at the Louisa County (VA) Public Schools.  He was a member of the Virginia Association of School Superintendents and active in the Virginia School Board Association.
