Federated Conservationists of Westchester County, Inc. and Scenic Hudson to host “Revitalizing Hudson Riverfronts: Opportunities in an Era of Global Climate Change” series of presentations and panel discussions will examine how redevelopment of Westchester County waterfronts can: stimulate the economy and jobs creation, connect people to the Hudson River, protect the environment and prepare for rising sea levels along the Hudson River.
Success stories-Westchester RiverWalk, Daylighting the Saw Mill in Yonkers, and Ossining’s new comprehensive plan-will be examined. Expert participants will include a planner, conservation scientist, municipal officials and a community waterfront advocate.
Who should attend? This forum is geared toward local officials, planners, developers citizen activists and other stakeholders in the future of waterfront development.
