For nearly two decades, Green Business Rosti Tuscan Kitchen has provided delicious cooking in a casual atmosphere for diners looking for authentic Italian meals.  Welcome to Rosti, the neighborhood treasure designed to satisfy guests with high expectations for unpretentious dining.  Whether patrons are grabbing a crisp salad or a delicious Panini sandwich during their lunch hour, or sitting with the whole family delving into huge bowls of pasta, Brick Pressed chicken and customized Toscano style pizzas for dinner, Rosti meets the needs of a diverse population with homey food for dine-in, take out and catering.

Rosti is proud to be a green-friendly and locally driven restaurant. Many of the mouth-watering dishes and gorgeous salads are made with vegetables from a nearby farm in Tarzana called Country Fresh Herbs.  If you are lucky, you may just see the farmer delivering her beautiful produce herself in the morning. Rosti also donates all the of restaurant’s grease to a company that turns the waste into bio-diesel fuel.

For diners with special dietary needs, Rosti will embrace you too. Have a friend who is Gluten Free or Vegan?  Now Rosti can be another dining option for them.  Try the Gluten Free Spaghetti or Penne in any of Rosti’s homemade pasta sauces, the fresh fish, chicken entrees or most salads.  There are 30 items that are vegan by eliminating one ingredient and many vegetarian/vegan based soups.

In 2008, a new hospitality management company, KBG Dining Group purchased Rosti Tuscan Kitchen. Owner Kevin Goldfein is as hands on a restaurateur as they come.  Boasting an impressive network both in and out of the hospitality industry, Mr. Goldfein directs all business matters for the restaurant chain that has locations in Encino and Santa Monica, California. He has completely rejuvenated the Rosti brand name and menu by building a team of the best and brightest servers, chefs and managers. Mr. Goldfein consulted his old friend Melissa Rubel, an in-house chef at Food and Wine Magazine, to perfect the menu of homemade pasta sauces, ravioli, soup, gnocchi, salad dressing and thin crust Toscana style pizza.

Mr. Goldfein remodeled the interior of the Santa Monica restaurant at 931 Montana Avenue and created a beautiful Tuscan garden for al fresco dining both day and night.  Boasting seasonal flowers, fragrant lavender and rosemary plants to most effectively use the corner location. The city of Santa Monica has praised Rosti for turning the city street into a drought tolerant, Tuscan themed garden.

In Encino at 16350 Ventura Blvd., Mr. Goldfein moved the restaurant across the street to a bigger and brighter position and offers complimentary underground parking, plenty of seating for intimate dinners, private events, large family or corporate lunches and dining for one at the bar. That bar has become quite the scene for young Valley singles!  The Encino restaurant also has a happy hour from 3:00pm to 6:00pm everyday with $5 pizzas and appetizers, $4 glasses of wine and Moretti beer on draft.  Regulars love “Wine Wednesdays” with half-priced bottles of California and Italian wines. Hey Fellow Organic Wine Lovers – If you love wine, the choices at Rosti Tuscan Kitchen are organic at the Encino location.  Also, you can BYOB in Santa Monica for no corkage!!

Do yourself a favor and try the signature Arugula & Fig Salad that features Arugula and Endive Lettuces, Dried Figs, Toasted Hazelnuts, Caramelized Onions and Goat Cheese, tossed in a Honey Balsamic Dressing.   Munch on a Fire Roasted Artichoke served with Grilled Lemon and a Basil-Tarragon Dipping Sauce.  Share a plate of Spinach and Ricotta Ravioli with your kids and pick from a choice of sauces: Pomodoro, Marinara, Pesto, Beef Ragu, All’ Arrabbiata, Aglio E Olio, Alfredo or Pink Sauce.

ROSTI’S Famous Brick Pressed Chicken Marinated in Garlic, Rosemary & Sage is a local favorite in LA and is called Pollo Al Mattone because it is grilled under a Mattone brick important from Italy.  Enjoy a half or whole chicken with a choice of two side dishes: Oven-Roasted Rosemary Potatoes, Garlic Mashed Potatoes, Seasonal Vegetables, Sautéed Mushrooms or Spinach with Garlic or Checca.  Fish lovers crave the Fresh Grilled Salmon Lightly Seasoned or Tuscan Style (Artichoke, Kalamata Olives & Checca Sauce) and meat lovers enjoy the Italian style Rosti Cheese Burger made with Angus Beef topped with Melted Provolone, Caramelized Onions, Tomatoes, Arugula & Basil Herb Aioli served on a Freshly Baked Ciabatta Roll with potatoes or a salad…so yummy!

The Siena gives you Brick-Pressed Chicken and Penne Pomodoro, the Elba has Grilled Salmon Filet and Grilled Seasonal Veggies and the Livorno has Grilled Chicken Breast and Grilled Seasonal Veggies.

As an easy dining experience for families, Rosti has convenient parking, great value and a pet friendly environment. After school, children are welcome to do their homework while having a delightful snack. The menu for kids under 12 has chicken, pasta and pizza options and includes a drink and freshly baked cookie for $6.75.  Kids can also win at Rosti.  While their parents are trying to win the pizza contest, kids can use their crayons to turn their menu into the next masterpiece for the Rosti Art Contest.  Monthly winners get a $50 gift certificate!

Rosti maintains a very strong presence in their communities by sponsoring, participating in and donating to local organizations, charities and events. The recently successful Lemon-8 Days Campaign donated 8% of the sales directly to the Santa Monica/Malibu School district to help raise $1.5 million to save the jobs of 20 teachers!  Rosti provides meals for schools and public library literacy programs and pizzas for Little League Home Run Hitters.

The restaurant also supports Relay for Life, Leukemia & Lymphoma Foundation, The Claire Foundation, The American Cancer Society, Concern Foundation Block Party, the Saban Free Clinic outdoor party, the Planned Parenthood Food Faire and the Special Olympics BBQ at the Santa Monica Pier.

The fresh Tuscan fare of Rosti Tuscan Kitchen may be found in two Los Angeles-area locations: Santa Monica and Encino. Featuring healthy Italian dining in a casual atmosphere, guests enjoy a large selection of homemade pastas, roasted chicken, unique salads, customized pizzas and full-service corporate catering.
