Their initial Magnolia Community Edition launch enabled Germany’s biggest communal utility company to connect with customers through an attractive, easy-to-navigate site that reinforces the SWM brand and environmental messaging. A subsequent Enterprise Edition relaunch in 2010 enhanced their web branding through interactive channels with a simplified design and content layout.
The Standard Templating Kit (STK) turned out to be the “killer feature” of their 2010 relaunch. After the switch, SWM was able to connect with customers through an attractive, easy-to-navigate site that reinforces the SWM brand and environmental messaging. Training and administrative costs plummeted, and authors now find it easy to add and update content.
The web is now SWM’s primary medium for product and environmental messaging, to promote the use of 100% green electricity, natural gas, efficient district heating, and clear drinking water extracted from the ground without further processing or purification.
