# NYSEIA Honors Solar Projects at 6KC Awards Ceremony - Link: https://greenlivingguy.com/2011/10/nyseia-honors-solar-projects-at-6kc-awards-ceremony/ - Published: 2011-10-13T19:58:44-04:00 - Author: greenlivingguy ## NYSEIA honors Solar Energy Industry Projects Westchester/Bronx Energy $mart Communities (E$C) partnered with the New York Solar Energy Industries Association ([NYSEIA](https://www.nyseia.org/)) to honor the organizations and individuals who continue to work tirelessly to further the progress of the [New York Solar Jobs Act](https://assembly.state.ny.us/leg/?default_fld=&bn=A05713&Summary=Y&Text=Y). He also [projected that continued advancement](https://greenlivingguy.com/2012/02/new-york-transportation-projects-advancing-green-solutions/) in supportive legislation would achieve the top item on everyone’s agenda today- creating jobs.
