So here are some stats in this picture to make it clearer how HUGE it is to have Target using sustainable seafood!!
1. 80% of the fish we eat in the United States is imported.
2. We have removed 90% of basically all species of fish!! NOT GOOD!!
3. The United States spent $80.2 Billion of seafood in 2010 alone!!
4. That is why Target is going sustainable which in part does mean LOCALLY BASED!!
