The Model S electric vehicle is the first sedan designed from the ground up. It’s got the special sauce of Tesla’s advanced electric powertrain, which WILL give you torque and smooth acceleration from 0-60 in less than six seconds.
The Model S seats five adults and two children, class-leading cargo space and a second trunk under the hood. The sweet interior has a 17” touchscreen with wireless connectivity for streaming radio, web browsing and navigation.
ALSO, to ease your fears, the Model S comes with three battery pack options, 160, 230 or 300 mile range. 
More importantly, this EV can be charged using any conventional outlet and is capable of a fast charge of 45 minutes.
Deliveries of Model S begin in mid-2012. Customers can reserve their Model S in one of Tesla’s retail stores, or online. Already, Tesla has more than 6,500 reservations for Model S.
