Living Guy")

First of all! How I eat from Stop and Shop #organic #green #food.

## Shop hundreds of organic products throughout the store.

Greater transparency is fundamental at Stop & Shop.  All because you deserve to
know where your food comes from.  Especially since it contains ingredients you trust.
In addition, Stop & Shop is committed to developing a program.  One that enables
customers to shop.  Sorry, I mean all based on personal preferences.  For that’s
such as using less plastic.  Also ensuring humane treatment of animals.  Then also
finding products free from chemicals. Furthermore, Stop & Shop aims to help lead
the industry in traceability.  I mean they are all focused on driving clear transparency
in the supply chain.

#### Shop below by category or select View All to further Sort & Filter on our entire organic assortment.

I mean we are talking the **[Non-GMO](https://stopandshop.com/pages/nonGMO)** and**
[Gluten Free](https://stopandshop.com/pages/glutenfree)** products. You’ll be amazed
and delighted.  Especially at the selection and quality.  All of the many products
we offer.

#### In addition to a commitment to plant 100,000 trees along with Arbor Day Foundation.

So Stop & Shop will be planting trees in local communities.  All across its footprint
to celebrate the program’s kickoff. [Founded](https://stopandshop.com/pages/stsh-makes-it-easy-for-customers-to-reduce-their-environmental-footprint)
by a team of loyalty and rewards experts.  That’s because GreenPrint created the
first reduced emissions programs.  Thereby enabling companies to enhance their existing
offerings on a per transaction basis.

#### Today the company reduces emissions on over 1 billion gallons of fuel annually across thousands of retail locations and 100,000 corporate and municipal fleets in 14 countries.

In addition, GreenPrint has built relationships with more than 2,000 nonprofits
across the [world](https://greenlivingguy.com/2019/09/greta-thunberg-really-told-the-world-to-wake-up/).
For it also makes investments in over 20 certified carbon offset and renewable energy
projects. Follow GreenPrint on [LinkedIn.](https://www.linkedin.com/company/greenprintcorp/)

## Greater Transparency

Greater transparency is fundamental at Stop & Shop.  All because you deserve to
know where your food comes from and that it contains ingredients you trust. Because
Stop & Shop is committed to developing a program.  One that enables customers to
shop based on personal preferences.  I mean such as using less plastic.  Also ensuring
humane treatment of animals.  In addition to finding products free from chemicals
of concern and much more. Stop & Shop also aims to help lead the industry in traceability.
Furthermore, they are focused on driving clear transparency in the supply chain.

Their efforts to ensure greater transparency fall into four key areas:

**Empower Customers to Shop Based on Environmental and Social Impact**:

We will enhance the information provided about products including where it comes
from as well as highlight sustainable product qualities online such as minimally
processed, fair labor and climate friendly.  So [HowGood®](https://howgood.com/),
analyzes each ingredient.  All against environmental and social criteria.  That’s
including farming practices.  I mean the treatment of animals, labor conditions
and chemical use.

##### The more leaves a product has, the more sustainable it is, making it easy for customers to make informed choices when they shop.

[GMO](https://i5.peapod.com/c/pdfs/STSH_GMO_Policy_2020.pdf) labeling option to
make it easier for customers.  All to understand what is included in the [products](https://greenlivingguy.com/2008/08/read-the-labels-on-all-green-products/)
they love. Especially store brand products.  I mean those that will have clear on-
pack Bioengineered Food disclosure.  I mean well ahead of the Federal Bioengineered
labeling.

**Ensuring Ethical & Just Supply Chains**:

They will ensure social compliance.  Moreover maintain a robust [animal welfare policy](https://i5.peapod.com/c/pdfs/STSH_Animal_Policy_2020.pdf)
and uphold our [human rights policy](https://www.aholddelhaize.com/en/about-us/stakeholder-interests/human-rights/#:~:text=We%20respect%20the%20rights%20of,offensive%20or%20hostile%20work%20environment).
All to capture our already deeply held beliefs.  Especially all people involved
in the [food supply chain](https://greenlivingguy.com/2011/06/oceana-applauds-u-s-senate-for-advancing-bill-to-stop-seafood-fraud/).
That should be treated fairly, justly and also with respect.

**Conserving & Regenerating Natural Resources**

They will continue to source a wide array of certified sustainable products.  For
that’s including key commodities.  I mean seafood, coffee, cocoa, tea, palm oil (
ugh) soy and wood.  For that’s as well as promoting regenerative agriculture

**Advancing Circular & Safe Products/Packaging**

Maintaining a robust sustainable [chemistry policy](https://www.retailbusinessservices.com/news-releases/news-release-details/retail-business-services-announces-commitment-sustainable)
and move toward 100 percent sustainable plastic packaging. As a subsidiary of Ahold
Delhaize, Stop & Shop are signatories to the Ellen MacArthur Foundation.  One that
the New Plastics Economy Global Commitment to Eliminate problematic or unnecessary
plastic packaging.  Especially move from single-use to reuse packaging models.

## Sustainable Seafood

100% of the seafood sold from our service counters is sustainably and responsibly
sourced. On top of that 100% of our Nature’s Promise and Stop & Shop seafood items
are sustainably sourced—including frozen shrimp and canned tuna.

## Coffee, Tea & Cocoa

In conclusion, we are always looking for ways to be environmentally and socially
responsible. Finally, this means sourcing products that meet strict standards.
That’s including better farming methods and treatment of workers. Look for the Rainforest
Alliance Certified™, Fair Trade or UTZ certified logos.  All to help support these
social and also environmental practices.
