November 15, 2013 – Denver, Colorado: A group of the UK’s most promising clean technology companies have been chosen to attend the Clean and Cool Mission to Colorado in December. The sixteen companies, which were unveiled at an official ceremony in London last night, will visit Colorado, the fastest-growing cleantech ecosystem in the U.S, to showcase their innovations and explore business opportunities associated with tackling climate change.
According to the American Motorcycle Industry Council, motorcycle sales in the U.S. were up 2.6% in 2012. In the first half of 2013, 362,500 motorcycles, scooters, and ATVs have already been sold.

In light of the rising demand for motorcycles in the country and the U.S. Department of Energy’s goal of having 1 million electric vehicles on U.S. roads by 2015, Agility Global has blended Formula 1 and aerospace design with advanced engineering and electric technology to manufacture the world’s first high-performance, clean tech motorcycle.

Saietta, which means ‘thunderbolt’ in Apennine Italian, is a premium, electric urban sports motorcycle that is strikingly designed, fast and powerful, it is also 100% clean and green.

Saietta’s single-system, Formula 1 derived, composite monocoque chassis is a new innovation for motorcycles, allowing superior suspension, packaging and power to weight ratio which enable superior performance and handling. The Saietta goes from 0 – 60 in 3.9 seconds and reaches speeds of up to 80 miles-per-hour.

Agility Global have developed 7 prototype models which are now in production and one will be on tour throughout the state of Colorado!
