Let’s just say no to pesticides EPA approved. I mean like we want folks. I am so so sick of it. Really am about pesticides. Yet the EPA did something today. However, we must get strong together. I mean can we just start to say No more pesticides that are overly toxic?

. Today, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) announced proposed revisions to Worker Protection Standards. Especially in order to protect the nation’s two million farm workers and their families from pesticide exposure.
Improvements
EPA is proposing significant improvements to worker training regarding the safe usage of pesticides. For that’s including how to prevent and effectively treat pesticide exposure. Increased training and signage will inform farm workers. Especially about the protections they are afforded under the law. Moreover will help them protect themselves. In addition to their families. All from pesticide exposure.
Workers and others near treated fields will now be protected. That’s from pesticide overspray and fumes. In addition, EPA has proposed that children under 16 be legally barred from handling all pesticides. That’s with an exemption for family farms. These revisions protect workers. All the while ensuring agricultural productivity. Moreover and preserving the traditions of family farms.
More than 10 Years of work
This proposal represents more than a decade of extensive stakeholder input. That’s by federal and state partners. In addition, partners from across the agricultural community. For that’s including farm workers, farmers, and industry. All to be involved in the current EPA Worker Protection Standard (WPS). That’s a move for Agricultural Pesticides first established in 1992.
Conclusion
If the outside auditor finds that Bayer has not implemented the procedures to prevent MIIITC from escaping into the environment. So then the EPA can invoke its right to collect up to $1 million in additional fines against Bayer. It is also important to note that the EPA can collect these fines.
