[earthkind](https://www.earthkind.com/), an eco-
friendly company that develops and manufactures naturally-efficient solutions for
indoor home maintenance, strives to treat every day as Earth Day. They are best
known for [Fresh Cab®](https://www.earthkind.com/product/fresh-cab-rodent-repellent/) Natural
Rodent Repellent an all-natural rodent repellent made exclusively of botanical fibers
and oils.

It was incredibly important for Kari Warberg Block, Founder & CEO of earthkind,
to undergo a Building for Environmental and Economic Sustainability (BEES©) analysis
in 2012. Results showed that Fresh Cab Natural Rodent Repellent’s carbon footprint
is less than 2%.

> Block says, “As a manufacturer, I thought it was important to analyze the entire
> life cycle of Fresh Cab Natural Rodent Repellent, from the field to my plant to
> retail shelves to consumer and back to the ground after disposal.”

Not only is the product manufactured in a way that has minimal [impact on the environment](https://greenlivingguy.com/2021/05/4-simple-habits-that-will-make-a-huge-positive-impact-on-the-environment/),
but it has been extensively tested and proven effective, earning recognition as
the first and only EPA Registered product of its kind. Additionally, Fresh Cab gives
people a safe, easy, and [humane](https://greenlivingguy.com/2021/11/mice-how-do-i-remove-them-humanely/)
option they can feel good about by repelling rodents rather than resorting to dangerous,
unpleasant and often lethal traps or poisons.
