Reclamation Etchworks reclaims and repurposes old bottles giving them a long-lasting shelf life as spirit decanters for your home bar.

Newly formed company Reclamation Etchworks sets out to make designer quality products from reclaimed materials. In a community effort to reduce waste, RE has assembled an army of local bartenders to save empty spirit bottles. This effort has led to an amassment of thousands of bottles that co-founders Timothy Daw and Ethan Terry have scraped. They are also sanitized to breathe a new life into them with the help of laser power.

On the heels of an explosive resurgence in classic cocktail culture, the two San Francisco sustainable design gurus have assembled two different ‘foundation sets’ they claim will provide a perfect base for craft cocktails at home. Both sets, as well as individual bottles, are available on their website http://www.ReclamationEtchworks.com. Please inquire about custom work and adding personalized messages to commemorate special occasions.

Upcycling, the quintessential sustainable design process, literally plucks each bottle out of the waste stream and dodges huge amounts of energy consumption to crush and remelt glass down at 2700 degrees Fahrenheit. Customers can feel good about gifting this product as it quite literally saves energy and natural resources.
