BMW To Showcase All-Electric BMW i3 During Super Bowl XLIX

The BMW Group is ready to make a splash. All during Super Bowl XLIX with a commercial. One that will highlight the all-electric BMW i3.

This announcement marks the first time in history that the BMW Group has featured an all-electric vehicle during the event.

The BMW i3 is the first all-electric vehicle produced by the BMW Group. This revolutionary car has a range of up to 114 miles and a top speed of 93 miles per hour. It is also the first mass-produced vehicle to use carbon fiber reinforced plastic (CFRP) in its body construction. This advanced material helps to reduce the vehicle’s weight. Thereby giving it a more efficient range and improved acceleration.

The BMW i3 commercial will feature a range of celebrities. I mean including actor and environmentalist Leonardo DiCaprio and athlete and philanthropist Serena Williams. The commercial will also focus on how the BMW i3 is “Designed for Life in Motion”.  So it’s showcasing the vehicle’s innovative features and advanced technology.

The commercial will be aired during the second quarter of the game. All which is expected to draw approximately 110 million viewers. This will be the first time that an all-electric vehicle has been featured during the Super Bowl. Also, the BMW Group is hoping to use this opportunity to reach a large audience. Also and then promote their new electric vehicle. Thereby raising awareness about sustainable mobility.
