## LEED: Jefferson Park Terrace

As a LEED Certified Gold Building which is located in the South Central area of
Los Angeles. For it embraces the newest technology along with tradition. Especially
because the building was erected on the site of the very first Fatburger hamburger
stand. One which was founded in 1952 by African American [entrepreneur](https://greenlivingguy.com/2023/09/reducing-energy-waste-while-working-remotely/)
Lovie Yancey. The original hamburger stand has been incorporated into the building’s
design. Moreover, it has been preserved as a beacon of Black entrepreneurship.
That’s especially in the historic Jefferson Park neighborhood.
