According to the new report, SolarCity installed 34% of all U.S. residential solar in 2014, followed by 13% from second-place Vivint Solar. While the top ten installers gained share in 2014, the rest of the pack grew 13% on an absolute basis.

These findings come from GTM Research’s U.S. PV Leaderboard, a subscription product which tracks quarterly market share for installers, inverter suppliers, and module manufacturers in both residential and commercial markets.
