The Green Living Guy

WASHINGTON (December 16, 2015) – The following is a statement by Bob Keefe, executive director of the national nonpartisan business group Environmental Entrepreneurs (E2), on the budget agreement between Congress and the White House, which includes an important extension of clean energy tax incentives long sought by E2.

“This gives the wind and wind and solar industries the policy certainty they need to plan future investments, create good jobs and keep making progress on climate change.

“This is the latest good news in a monumental week for clean energy. Between the strong Paris agreement, the announcement that another major city – San Diego – is committing to going 100-percent renewable, and now Congress agreeing on a long-term extension of tax incentives, you’re seeing the clean energy revolution continue to build momentum.”
