Watch Cooper Hunts for H2O on PBS Kids with your children, or tell others about how to learn about some of our natural resources. If you were stranded in the jungle, what resources could you find to help you?

So I looked at the videos. They are fun to watch with young kids. Also this episode really teaches kids how to appreciate the Jungle. For all its value.

For a plum landing set of Cooper Hunts stories they strive to create a balanced rainforest ecosystem. One in which each animal has enough food to survive over a period of 12 days, in this interactive game from PLUM LANDING™. Players see how the different species of plants and animals in a rainforest depend on one another. They also experiment with how changing the amount of one resource affects the whole ecosystem.

The concepts of ecosystem stability and food webs, however, apply to ecosystems across the globe. To highlight this, PLUM LANDING offers similar food web games in mangrove, desert, and mountain ecosystems. You can choose to have your students play each of these food web games—Make a Mangrove, Feed the Dingo, and Mountain Scramble—and share what they have learned. What similarities are there between all four games? Can they draw conclusions about the makeup of a healthy ecosystem? What happened if they added more animals than plants in the mangrove ecosystem? The desert? Would any ecosystem survive with more animals than plants?

If you were stranded in the jungle, what resources could you find to help you? Watch Cooper Hunts for H2O on PBS Kids with your children, or tell others about how to learn about some of our natural resources.
