Join me and the Village of Croton-on-Hudson’s Sustainability Committee at Croton Library soon to learn about electric vehicles.
This is a unique opportunity to see if an EV makes sense as your next car, without sales pressure.
Coming soon, we will host an electric car show, where visitors will have the chance to speak with owners and get a look at their cars.
Ownership of electric cars has grown in recent years. In 2012 the number of electric cars in the state was just 2,800. By 2014, that number had grown to 10,000, then to 18,000 last year. There are 1,600 charging stations statewide, with many in the Lower Hudson Valley clustered around train stations.
