# The Rise of Electric Energy Mobility: A Look into the Future

Twelve new zero-emission electric vehicles are launching energy mobility electric
plans by 2022. For that’s utilizing new common electric vehicle platforms and components
for multiple segments.

# Autonomy

Vehicle manufacturers are introducing forty vehicles with different levels of autonomy.
I mean zero-emission electric cars are the future now so let’s not kid ourselves.
So all the way to fully autonomous capability. Becoming an operator of robo-vehicle

Mr. Ghosn concluded: “This plan will boost the growth and profitability of our member
companies. We intend to deliver on growing synergies, with three autonomous companies
cooperating with the efficiency of one. The Alliance has grown and performed with
two members since 1999. With Alliance 2022, we will prove that we will grow and 
perform with three companies or more.”

## Energy Storage Too

Also, Alliance member companies and The Mobility House have already embarked on 
several projects together. For instance, through collaboration with The Mobility
House, the Nissan LEAF was the first electric car to be used in a [Vehicle-to-Grid (V2G)](https://greenlivingguy.com/2017/12/electric-vehicle-to-grid-services-can-feed-stabilize-power-supply/)
project in Germany. That’s in Hagen.

Cooperating with Groupe Renault, The Mobility House will market the biggest stationary
energy storage systems made with electric vehicle batteries in Europe and contribute
through its smart energy platform to make the Portuguese island of Porto Santo, 
near Madeira, the first “smart island” in the world.
