Green Living Guy Teamed with Panasonic USA for CES

 

Today I can gladly announce that I’m teamed up with Panasonic USA. This is to speak at CES (Consumer Electronics Show) this January 7-12 in Las Vegas baby!! For context, I have heard of CES and the events announced. Yet being asked to attend and in addition to represent an amazing product line like Panasonic USA and Tesla Inc?!! Yes, I have to say it is humbling!

Therefore, I’m gonna speak about Panasonic’s integrated solutions. That’s combining solution in the sustainable energy industry. All from a high-level.

You all know I have loved Panasonic since they connected with Tesla Motors. I mean Renewable Energy, Electric Car Batteries and Energy Storage!! Bam!!

Then they began to create the Gigafactory, 1 and 2. For context, Gigafactory One is for the battery plant building a gigawatt of batteries Tesla Motors in Nevada. Then Giga 2 is for Solar cells for Solar City. That 1-2 combo; I mean that’s an amazing feat. Then add Powerwalls and really saving money on energy. You can’t go wrong. Heck California has backed up the electrical grid with Tesla branded Energy storage. Yet it’s all Panasonic USA!

Now with the release of the Tesla Semi and the Roadster (not including the Model 3), battery purchases are gong to increase the volume and potentially further reduce the cost of each product.

Then as I wrote, Panasonic USA is making high-efficiency solar panels that make eco more economical!. These solutions already exist independently, but when combined, they become even more powerful. Ah now you’re starting to connect the dots of all this battery, energy storage, Solar and Car connection. They are all interconnected.

That’s because a combined Tesla and SolarCity will be able to offer customers better and more affordable ways to drive clean cars.

Why? All by using battery packs to consume energy more efficiently. Moreover to and make use of solar energy.

Beyond providers of sustainable energy, traditional power plants can also benefit from our energy storage systems, eliminating the need to build new facilities to handle growing peak demand.

Tesla’s mission is to accelerate the world’s transition to sustainable energy through increasingly affordable electric vehicles and renewable energy generation and storage. At the heart of these products are batteries.

So again let’s connect the dots. The Gigafactory’s electricity will, in part, come from solar. That’s because the entire roof of the factory will be covered in solar array. Therefore the power not consumed during the day will be stored. All via Tesla Powerpacks for use when needed.

With the Gigafactory online today and ramping up production

I mean that’s meaning the cost of battery cells for energy storage and electric cars will significantly decline. By bringing down the cost of batteries I mean really?, All Tesla can make products available to masses. That’s quicker than any other car company.

The Los Angeles City Council approved moving forward with the Los Angeles Green Business Certification Program. The City of Los Angeles’ initiative, to be administered by the Los Angeles Community College District (LACCD), will provide information on how to identify a green business and how businesses can adopt sustainable practices. One of the aims is to enable consumers to support firms that strive to protect the environment. The program was announced at a news conference at Ciudad restaurant. Green Seal, Inc., the Los Angeles Area Chamber of Commerce, Green Globe and dineLA, a part of LA INC, The Los Angeles Convention and Visitors Bureau will join the LACCD in its work on this effort.
Joe Veilleux doesn’t view himself as an environmentalist, but he understands how his actions might paint him with that brush. “I’m not an environmentalist,” said Veilleux, general manager of the U.S. operations of natural health ingredient manufacturer Euromed. “I’m a pragmatist. There’s a difference. A lot of environmentalists have characterized their cause as one that pits them directly against corporate America. I’m part of corporate America, but I also recognize the debt I owe to the environment and want to do my fair share to protect it. In the long run, it’s just good for business and there are plenty of examples throughout history of how our environment is one of our most valuable natural resources.” Veilleux’s company is partner with the Everglades Foundation in a campaign dubbed Glade-iator (www.glade-iator.org), which is a model of the public-private partnership Veilleux believes is good for business.
