### Energy and Environmental

The [Energy](https://greenlivingguy.com/2011/10/ottawa-solar-power-installs-fit-compliant-solar-energy-system-at-drouin-farms/)
provided by this solar system is expected to offset ~65% of JCC’s power, saving
the nonprofit ~$1.5M over its lifetime. Beyond the financial benefits, the [CO2](https://greenlivingguy.com/2009/09/electric-supercharger-boosts-torque-50-and-reduces-co2-by-20/)
eliminated by the system is the equivalent of taking 54 cars off the road every
year. You can view the construction time lapse of their solar energy system, here.
