Worldwide in Sister Reef Project with Belize Tourism Board_**

BELIZE CITY, March 8, 2018 /PRNewswire/ — Despite being on opposite sides of the
globe, Belize and Australia connect as the home to the planet’s two largest barrier
reefs. These fragile habitats are under threat from environmental impacts and must
protected. Furthermore, the [Belize Tourism Board](https://www.travelbelize.org/)
has partnered with [World Wildlife Fund](https://www.worldwildlife.org/) (WWF) created

This was a campaign to raise awareness and funds for both Barrier Reefs.

The Sister Reef Project**
 The Sister Reef Project is an online fundraiser benefitting
WWF. Travelers were encouraged to buy credits to enter to win multiple curious items

In addition and simultaneously donating to a worthy cause. All funds from the project
went toward WWF. They were usedto support reef conservation efforts in both counties.

Firstly, Belize is home to the world’s second-largest barrier reef and we want to
keep it that way! That was said by Karen Bevans, Director of Tourism at the Belize
Tourism Board. “Belizeans know the importance a healthy reef and many rely on it

and fisheries. They support about 190,000 people. That’s why Belizeans across the
