IKEA helps you save over £300 a year* with renewable electricity for all

• IKEA’s partnership with the Big Clean Switch can help customers live more sustainably and save money by switching to a 100% renewable electricity tariff

This partnership demonstrates the retailer’s commitment to enabling customers and co-workers to live more sustainably by switching to a renewable electricity provider.

In addition, the Big Clean Switch is a ‘profit with purpose’ company.  It helps people to switch to renewable electricity providers.  That’s by making the process simple and easy. The company only list tariffs. Tariffs where the supplier can guarantee 100% of the electricity sold is green.

We want to give our customers creative solutions.  Solutions that will help them live a more sustainable life.  A life at home and to save money in the short and long-term. By partnering with the Big Clean Switch, IKEA is switching to renewable electricity simple, accessible and affordable to everyone.
Last year, IKEA UK introduced home solar panels and battery storage (SOLSTRÅLE) into their product range.  This is in a bid to make solar more accessible.  More importantly to support home owners towards becoming energy independent.

Therefore, for every switch, IKEA will receive a commission payment. This payment will support local community initiatives. At the end of the campaign the commission will be split among IKEA UK stores. The amount each store gets depends on ones generating the most switches.  Therefore, the money is for local community initiatives within each store’s area.

The exclusive tariff is available for a limited time only, from Tuesday 6th March until Monday 26th March, with pre-registration starting on Tuesday 20th February.
