Happy National Energy Awareness Month! First off, with the U.S. Department of Energy
estimating families could save up to 25% on utilities.  That’s alone with energy-
efficient measures.  Further, this reported by the personal-finance website WalletHub.
They released its report on [2018’s Most & Least Energy-Efficient States.](https://wallethub.com/edu/most-and-least-energy-efficient-states/7354/)

More importantly, let’s gauge the financial impact of doing more with less energy.
Cause the average American household spends at least $2,000 per year on utilities.
More noteworthy, and they spend another $1,968 on motor fuel and oil. That’s cause
WalletHub compared the auto and home-energy efficiency in 48 U.S. states. Due to
data limitations, Alaska and Hawaii are excluded from analysis.
