## MAYU’s new Stream uses naturally aerates water to purify and enhance drinking.

Hogla, Israel, 30 October 2018> — Israeli startup MAYU announcing the release of
the [STREAM](https://www.mayuwater.com/). It’s an ingenious new water purification
device. For it aerates water. All with a natural swirling motion. In addition it
infuses it with one of four signature mineral blends. Thereby imparting both nutrients
and unique flavor profiles

### Inventive Design

The [MAYU](https://greenlivingguy.com/2019/01/reclaimed-building-materials-offer-green-style-from-timeless-materials/)
Stream’s inventive design gently but swiftly aerates water. That’s by generating
a vortex in the borosilicate glass carafe. Especially when it’s placed on the patent-
pending vortex base. All of the components that touch the water are medical grade.
For the mineral blends have been specially tuned for balanced flavor and [nutritional](https://greenlivingguy.com/2021/09/eating-in-an-eco-friendly-way/)
benefits. Whether you’re starting with [tap water](https://greenlivingguy.com/2020/05/are-you-getting-the-most-from-your-tap-water/),
fridge water, or from the cooler. I mean the MAYU Stream will evaporate volatile
organic compounds (VOC’s). For that’s such as chlorine and radon. Thereby replacing
them instead with beneficial minerals.

#### Top Features

 1. Removing VOC’s from drinking water
 2. Removing odors from water (such as plastic or carbon)
 3. Improving taste
 4. Imbues water with mineral blend

Therefore inspired by nature, MAYU’s engineers driving to create the Stream to produce
healthy water. All the while eliminating the need for disposable, single-use plastics.
The Stream’s unglazed porcelain base is emulating rocks. Those were worn smooth
by water. In addition and the carafe’s elegant shape inspiring curves. For that’s
of a drop of water. Even the name MAYU is specially chosen after the ancient Inca
name for the Milky Way. Calling it the river of the sky.

#### Aeration

Aeration removing volatile tastes and odors from water. This leads to dissolving
them as gasses. The main culprit behind bad water [odor](https://greenlivingguy.com/2019/05/horrible-home-odors-fixing-a-foul-high-efficiency-hvac-unit/)
and taste is hydrogen sulfide. Therefore this is removing it by aeration. The process
raising the pH levels back to the sweet spot of 6.5-8.5.
