Staples Stepping Up Their Technology Trade-in Eligible and Recycling Even Batteries

First of all, Staples is recycling more than just ink cartridges folks. We’re also talking, devices, modems, cellphones and moreover batteries (yes Batteries!!)!!
In addition, if your device has no trade-in value. So Staples will still recycle it responsibly for free. Therefore bring in your old office technology products. All moreover to your local Staples. Because they’ll responsibly recycle them at no cost to you. For that’s any brand, any condition, even if you purchased it somewhere else.
As before, you still can recycle your empty ink and toner cartridges online or in store and you could earn $2 back in Staples Rewards® for each one. So not only will you save on future purchases, but you can also feel good about reducing waste in our landfills.
For a fee, Staples offers mail-back and pickup technology recycling solutions for large businesses with 20+ employees. That’s through their Staples Advantage® division.

Prohibited items also not accepted for recycling:
Alkaline batteries, non-rechargeable lithium batteries, appliances, floor model printers and copiers, kitchen electronics, lamps or bulbs, large servers, large speakers or speaker systems, smoke detectors and televisions.
Terms and Limits
*Limit 7 items per customer per day. All brands of items are also accepted regardless of where purchased. Store management has the right to also refuse to accept items that may pose a health or safety risk (e.g., broken monitors not packed in a box, laptops with damaged batteries, etc.).
Rechargeable battery recycling
Bring your old rechargeable batteries to your local Staples for free recycling. All collected batteries are also responsibly recycled by Call2Recycle.
Staples accepts and redeems if eligible for Nickel Cadmium (Ni-Cd). As well as Lithium Ion (Li-Ion), Small Sealed Lead Acid (SSLA/Pb), Nickel Metal Hydride (Ni-MH), and Nickel Zinc (Ni-ZN) batteries that are 11 pounds or less.
Moreover they also cannot accept single-use alkaline or lithium batteries or automotive/wet-cell batteries.
