# Free EV Safety Training from Empire Clean Cities

# FREE EV TRAINING

First of all, the [Empire Clean Cities](https://www.empirecleancities.org/) is hosting
a FREE one-hour electric vehicle safety [training](https://greenlivingguy.com/2024/09/electric-vehicle-safety-navigating-the-challenges-of-hurricane-helene/)
for first responders on January 26th at 12pm EST. The training will be virtual, 
and the facilitator is an in-service firefighter. They would love your help sharing
the invite with any municipal contacts who may want to sign up. I mean any members
of your local fire and police departments or other first responders.

Consequently, there are only 30 spots available. However, we will have a waitlist
and depending on demand. One where they can also host another in the Spring. Participants
who also successfully complete the course will receive a certificate of completion.

We’ve also attached a flyer for the event. Moreover, with more details that can
