So to demonstrate that a vehicle with an electric powertrain can deliver strong performance is needed with the police force.  Because of the standing up to demanding police duty cycles and extensive shifts of 0-120 25-30X a day. That is why the company is submitting an all-electric police pilot vehicle.  One also based on the 2021 Mustang Mach-E SUV.  All for testing as part of the Michigan State Police 2022 Model Year Police Evaluation.  Starting on Sept. 18 and ending on 20. Ford will also use the pilot program testing as a benchmark.  All the while it continues to explore purpose-built electric police vehicles in the future. Law enforcement demand for all-electric vehicles is growing worldwide.

Last week, Ford introduced a new Mustang Mach-E police concept car in the United Kingdom that has police agencies lining up for a chance to try it out.

In conclusion, Green Living Guy did a test with Ulster County Sheriff Department.  See the image below.  For the police force certainly needs additional batteries in the vehicle to meet police standards with technology, range, air conditioning and longevity.  For these tests will certainly and without question improve the durability of electric cars in police forces and also for consumers too.
