LONDON, UK, Oct. 03, 2022 – Genesis Motor UK today announces that the Electrified GV70 SUV is now officially on sale and, since its pre-order opening in July, first customer deliveries will take place this month. The electrified GV70 is the third all-electric model to be launched by the South Korean brand this year. It’s following the launch of the GV60 and Electrified G80.
Embodying luxury, performance, and versatility, the Electrified GV70 is the all-electric iteration of the popular GV70 SUV launched in Europe last year. This new model features an advanced and refined all-wheel drive dual electric motor powertrain that delivers a powerful 360kW combined output, which in combination with the 77.4kWh battery, provides an impressive range of 283 miles (WLTP). Thanks to the use of cutting-edge 800-volt architecture, the Electrified GV70 requires just 18 minutes to charge from 10 to 80% using a 350kW rapid charger.

As standard, the GV70 is generously full of cutting-edge technology. That includes a 12.3-inch instrument cluster and a 14.5-inch high-definition touchscreen infotainment display. Not to mention a battery electric (BEV) theme and state-of-the-art driver safety assistance features.
Customers can choose from 15 exterior colors and four premium paint finishes – solid, metallic, pearlescent, and matte, which includes Barossa Burgundy in Matte – a new color for the electrified range. For the interior, there’s a choice of different color themes. For instance, three each for the standard leather and three options for the Nappa leather upgrade.
The GV70 is available exclusively in the Sport trim. As with all Genesis models, drivers can personalize using the easy-to-use online configurator. This allows customers to choose from a range of color and trim options. They can also select a number of upgrade packages that focus on technology, innovation, and comfort.
Owners of the electric GV70 can take advantage of the ‘Genesis Charging’ program. It offers customers a comprehensive, stress-free, and Europe-wide electric charging solution that includes up to 275,000 charging locations. The service is hassle-free and easy to use. Moreover, it uses just a single app and charge card while billing for home and public charging is streamlining into a single account. Furthermore, customers benefit from dedicated, 24-hour emergency support.
