A look at some of the controversies surrounding Tesla, including its manufacturing
practices. Some say it’s working conditions, and the behavior of its CEO, Elon Musk.

## Greatness creates Polarization

Forever Tesla has been a polarizing company. First with its [futuristic](http://www.tesla.com/)
electric vehicles and ambitious plans for sustainable transportation. Then drawing
both fierce admiration and intense criticism. In recent years, the company has faced
a number of controversies. For that’s ranging from its [manufacturing](https://greenlivingguy.com/2017/12/tesla-batteries-made-by-panasonic-usa-inside-model-3-gigafactory/)
practices and working conditions. All to the behavior of its CEO, Elon Musk.

### Manufacturing

One major controversy that has surrounded Tesla is the company’s manufacturing practices.
In 2018, a report by The Guardian claimed that [Tesla](https://greenlivingguy.com/2022/07/tesla-dollars-increases-budget-for-next-two-years-investing-more-into-new-factories/)
had higher injury rates at its factory in Fremont, California than the industry
average. So that the company had underreported injuries to regulators. Tesla denied
the allegations. All saying that the report was “dramatically wrong” and that it
was committed to the safety of its employees.

#### Elon

Another controversy that has plagued Tesla is the behavior of its CEO, Elon Musk.
Musk has been known to make controversial statements on social media and has faced
criticism for his management style. In 2018, he faced backlash for a tweet in which
he suggested that he had secured funding to take Tesla private, leading to an investigation
by the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). Musk eventually reached a settlement
with the SEC, agreeing to pay a fine and step down as chairman of Tesla’s board.

Despite these controversies, Tesla remains a popular and influential company, with
a devoted fan base and a strong presence in the electric vehicle market. Whether
you love or hate Tesla, it is undeniable that the company is making waves in the
automotive industry and shaping the future of transportation.

#### Meetings

In particular and it’s worth noting that the information I provided about a meeting.
I met Elon Musk and Franz von Holzen. Yes, it’s true. I also included it in the
post as an example of how these controversies could be discussed.
