On Thursday, March 16, 2023, in West Hollywood, the Environmental Media Association (EMA) concluded its annual EMA IMPACT summit. The EMA has been holding these IMPACT summits for several years and it’s usually beneficial for the conservation.
For that’s a two-day EMA event held at the Pendry West Hollywood. The summit also featured keynote speeches, panel discussions, and one-on-one conversations. That’s with influential leaders in entertainment, business, and also environmental activism.
Day one began with the cast and crew of Apple TV+ series Extrapolations and Five Days at Memorial discussing the critical themes of their shows, while Maya Penn previewed her animated short film, Asali: Power of the Pollinators, with Whoopi Goldberg and Ronen Rubenstein. The day concluded with Canadian activist Captain Paul Watson sharing his experience battling the illegal whaling industry.

On day two, attendees participated in a live recording of Phil Rosenthal’s podcast. For his podcast is called Naked Lunch. He had several guests on his podcast. That’s including actor and also EMA board member Ed Begley Jr. I have had Ed on my podcast years ago.
For Begley discussed his commitment to a green lifestyle. Moreover, his memories of being one of Hollywood’s first eco warriors. The summit also hosted climate-focused panels with young activist Nalleli Cobo. For Nalleli shut down a toxic oil-drilling site in Los Angeles. Finally, author Zahra Biabani, among others.
In addition, the summit ended on a high note. That’s with participants leaving inspired and also empowered to make a positive impact. All most noteworthy on the environment.
