Let’s go for Earth Hour!

For one hour, cities and people all over the world (including the Empire State Building, Eiffel Tower, Sydney Opera house and more than 1,381 other global landmarks and buildings) will unite and turn off their lights to raise awareness for global conservation and climate change.

Timex is supporting Earth Hour by asking consumers to visit a specially created 3D website at timex.com/earthhour and pledge to participate in the global movement – for every shared pledge using #TimeToGLO, Timex will donate $1 in your name directly to the Earth Hour organization (up to $50,000).

Going dark for Earth Hour is a simple way to get involved. In a recent survey conducted by Timex, 94% of Americans said they are in some way willing to change their lifestyle to help change climate change but 48% of people don’t know what to do or where to start.
