IBEROSTAR Hotels & Resorts recently received the esteemed Green Globe certification for three properties in Jamaica and five in Mexico.

So further showcasing the brand’s commitment to sustainable development. One of the most recognized environment certification systems in the world. Because the award honors dedication to environmental conservation. That’s as well as social and cultural responsibility in the tourism industry.

In addition, IBEROSTAR Hotels & Resorts has executed a number of policies in support of eco-friendly ideals. Firstly, IBEROSTAR Grand Hotel Paraíso (Riviera Maya, Mexico) development.  They also have included optimizing energy resources. Also reducing water consumption, and recycling PET, cardboard, aluminum and other materials.

Additionally, IBEROSTAR has also activated several changes to the internal infrastructure in their Jamaica and Mexico resorts. Furthermore, this has resulted in better storage and disposal of biodegradable material and recyclable products.

In conclusion, recognized properties include the IBEROSTAR Grand Hotel Rose Hall.  In addition, are the IBEROSTAR Rose Hall Suites, and IBEROSTAR Rose Hall Beach in Montego Bay, Jamaica.  Also, as well as the IBEROSTAR Playa Paraíso Golf & Spa Resort complex in Riviera Maya, Mexico.  This list is also composed of the IBEROSTAR Grand Hotel Paraíso, Paraíso Maya, Paraíso Lindo, Paraíso Beach and Paraíso del Mar. These hotels also joined in the esteemed ranking with the IBEROSTAR Cozumel.  That’s in Cozumel, Mexico.  Also the IBEROSTAR Tucán and IBEROSTAR Quetzal in Playa del Carmen, Mexico.  Finally, all of which awarded the Green Globe certification.
