Award-winning inserts make homes and businesses more energy efficient

(Portland, OR) — Indow Windows announced today it has received Top Product of the Year Award in the Environmental Leader Product & Project Awards. Indow Windows, which manufactures energy-efficient window inserts, was lauded by the judges for its ability to reduce the carbon footprint of the built environment by creating energy efficiency.

“Indow Windows offers a fast and easy way to reduce air and solar infiltration through existing windows, yielding significant energy savings in both hot and cold climates. By reducing energy usage, Indow also helps to decrease demand on the electricity grid and reduce greenhouse gas emissions simultaneously,” one of the judges said.

Another added, “Impressive innovation in design and subsequent energy savings, also impressive business growth since 2012.”

The Environmental Leader Product & Project Awards program recognizes excellence in products and services that provide companies with energy and environmental benefits. It gives energy and sustainability professionals expert guidance in choosing products to help their companies increase energy, environmental and sustainability performance.

Indow Windows are acrylic thermal window inserts that eliminate the need for window replacement by instantly making a room more energy efficient and comfortable. Laser-measured for a precision fit, the inserts simply press into place inside window frames using the company’s patented compression tube.

“With more than 1 billion single-pane windows in the United States, Indow Windows is poised to make a huge difference in the energy efficiency of the built environment and is honored by the Environmental Leader award,” said Indow Windows founder and CEO Sam Pardue. “Businesses and individuals can reduce their carbon footprint and increase their comfort with a product that is 100 percent Made in the USA.”
