The Wonderful Thing About Living Green: A Conversation With EMA Board Member Stana Katic

EMA Green: My Journey at the Awards Event

What are the EMA’s in the First Place? The Environmental Media Association

While at the Environmental Media Association (EMA) awards, I had the opportunity through Planet Green to provide these video interviews with Aysia Wright and me.  It’s great since I also told them and I got passes for sitting at a table to some great eats and drinks (all virgin), that I was there to report and help the cause.  So then I read about the mission statement of the EMA.

It was my first opportunity like that ever to rock out and get green answers, an experience that was both exhilarating and eye-opening. The vibrant energy in the air as I performed, mixed with thought-provoking conversations, made the event truly memorable. Many many thanks to my sponsors, A Lot To Say, Inc., for helping me to get out to the West Coast for this book tour, where I had the chance to connect with such an inspiring audience and share my journey, all while exploring the beautiful landscapes that this region has to offer. Their support has been invaluable in making this dream a reality, and I couldn’t be more grateful.

Collaboration with the Entertainment Industry

They work with the heavy-duty hitters in the entertainment industry and the environmental or green community, collaborating on initiatives that bridge the gap between these two vital sectors. Their approach is both innovative and inclusive, drawing in a diverse range of voices and perspectives from various fields, such as technology, business, and grassroots activism. By harnessing the creativity and influence of the entertainment industry, they are able to amplify important messages about sustainability and environmental responsibility to wider audiences. I think they have a broad tent since their policies were not strictly Republican nor Democrat; they were aimed at a common goal of going green, promoting sustainability and environmental stewardship while encouraging dialogue and cooperation among various stakeholder groups. This unique stance allows them to engage with a wide array of partners, all committed to fostering a healthier planet for future generations. Moreover, their collaborative efforts often result in innovative projects that not only raise awareness but also create tangible benefits for communities, reinforcing the idea that sustainable practices can lead to economic growth and enhanced quality of life. By paving the way for cross-sector collaborations, they help to create a cohesive effort that demonstrates the importance of a united approach in tackling environmental challenges.

PR People for EMA Green are Stellar. So Professional

I contacted one of their wonderful PR people, and she was truly exceptional. She was not only informative and helpful, but also incredibly personable and welcoming, making the whole interaction enjoyable. Her insights into the company and its offerings were thorough and gave me a deeper understanding of their mission and values. I felt valued as a potential customer, and her enthusiasm for her work was evident, which made me even more excited about the products they provide.

Annual EMA Awards

The annual EMA Awards honor film and television personalities, productions, musicians, and musical tours that convey environmental messages in the most creative and influential ways, showcasing the power of storytelling in fostering environmental awareness. These prestigious awards not only celebrate artistic excellence but also aim to inspire the entertainment industry to take a more active role in advocating for sustainability. Moreover, the EMA Green Seal Awards recognize productions and corporate entertainment offices that go green ‘behind the scenes,’ highlighting the importance of sustainable practices in the industry’s day-to-day operations. In tandem with the Green Seal Awards, EMA also offers practical guidance on how, specifically, the entertainment industry and individuals can green their day-to-day lives, providing valuable resources that enable them to make informed choices and implement eco-friendly practices both on set and in their personal lives. This comprehensive approach not only celebrates achievements but also promotes a culture of sustainability that extends beyond the awards themselves, encouraging everyone involved in the industry to commit to making a positive impact on the environment.
