The Green Living Guy

NextGen Climate released a brand new environment-focused, get-out-the-vote (GOTV) digital ad. One that’s featuring Academy Award winner Natalie Portman. This is part of more significant six-figure digital buy. At a time when the campaign trail is full of toxic rhetoric and personal attacks. For they want to show voters – especially women other options. Especially that they have a choice this election to vote for leaders who have a positive vision for our country.

Climate NextGen Natalie Portman Ad

In the ad, Portman not only urges millennials to exercise their vote. Especially on behalf of candidates who have concrete plans to address the climate crisis. However, it also presents this election as an opportunity. Especially for a cleaner, healthier, and more prosperous future.

Therefore and as part of NextGen Climate’s #WHYWEVOTE campaign. Now this video complements NextGen Climate’s data-driven field program. Located on 300 campuses. I mean across 13 battleground states to register millennials to vote. For it’s to educate them especially about where the candidates stand on. Most importantly on key issues. Most importantly to get them to the polls for climate champions on November 8th.

The video is backed by a six-figure ad buy. For it will run in battleground states to engage with millennials and encourage them to turn out and vote on Election Day.

“We already have the tools to stop climate change. I mean not tomorrow, not in ten years, right now. We can power our country with 100 percent clean energy. It’s creating millions of new jobs. For it’s also keeping carbon pollution out of our climate. Now Portman in the new ad. “It all starts with your vote… I’ll see you at the polls on November 8th.”

With this new digital video, NextGen Climate is also engaging millennials. That’s both on and off campus. Especially to get them to turnout on Election Day.

NextGen Climate’s #WHYWEVOTE campaign is a series of targeted digital ads to engage millennials. It’s a demographic that has also historically been difficult for campaigns to reach. That’s by meeting them where they are: online and on their phones. This campaign complements NextGen Climate’s data-driven field program. Located on over 300 campuses across thirteen battleground states.

Millenial Generation

“The Millennial Generation is a great generation. It’s one that’s very passionate about issues that impact their lives, like climate change. So it’s critical that millennials make their voices heard at the ballot box this November,” said NextGen Climate President Tom Steyer. “Elections are about choices, and this year we have the choice to elect candidates to the White House and Senate who will enact policies to fight climate change and transition to clean energy, or we could elect candidates who would take our country backwards and put our health, safety and economy at risk”
