Associated Press Picked Up Story

This story about my books and the book series was just picked up yesterday by the Associated Press.

It was an article from the Associated Press about home energy audits. These are crucial for homeowners looking to improve their energy efficiency and reduce utility costs. The article meticulously details the process of auditing. It examines aspects such as insulation, heating systems, and appliance performance. Furthermore, it includes the Green Guide series I spoke about. This offers valuable insights and practical tips for adopting sustainable practices within the home. Ultimately, it contributes to a greener environment. It promotes awareness about energy conservation among the general public.

Susan Zevon wrote an awesome story on me and apologizes for misspelling my name.  I believe her totally.  Anyway, she was writing about energy audits and came across the book Do-It-Yourself Home Energy Audits by David Findley.  This book is in my series!!!!  So exciting.. Thank you Susan.

She wrote (as I correctly spelled my name to the link for the entire article):

Home energy audits are like doctors’ checkups for the house, says Seth Leitman, who blogs as the Green Living Guy and consults on McGraw Hill’s series “Green Guru Guides.” And just as you need to follow a doctor’s advice to get healthier, so you need to follow an audit’s recommendations and retrofit your house if you want to see savings, experts say….

Begin with a diligent walkthrough of your house, keeping a checklist of areas you have inspected and problems you find. The Energy Star website offers a checklist, or for more guidelines read “Do-It-Yourself Home Energy Audits” (McGraw-Hill, 2010).

Regardless here are the dates so far.  I will use this page as my updates for my tour and am so appreciate for the support.  It is really an honor to just get the right information out there.
