Talk about green living at the highest order!!

The Clinton Global Initiative seems to be doing a lot to help go green.

Recently the Clinton Global Initiative announced a public-private collaboration to make Charlotte, North Carolina more energy efficient.  During the Clinton Global Initiative’s 2010 Annual Meeting in New York, at a plenary session on Enhancing Access to Modern Technology, President Bill Clinton joined representatives from the corporate and government sectors to announce the program.

The goal of the partnership is to reduce energy use by up to 20 percent and avoid approximately 220,000 metric tons of greenhouse gases by 2016.

According to the initiative: The long-term goal of the program is to build a public-private approach to energy efficiency that can be replicated in cities across America.
