Patagonia Sur, LLC is pleased to announce that Henry Tepper has joined the Patagonia Sur management team as Chief Conservation Officer and partner, effective immediately.
Tepper joins Patagonia Sur from the National Audubon Society where he served as Vice President of State Programs for the last two years. Patagonia Sur is a for-profit company that invests in, protects, and enhances ecologically significant and scenically remarkable properties in Chilean Patagonia.

America’s happiest city is an extension of its happy surroundings

San Luis Obispo has recently made news as “the happiest city in America” according to author Dan Buettner in his latest book, Thrive: Finding Happiness the Blue Zones Way, and as featured on Oprah. But happy communities don’t develop in a vacuum. San Luis Obispo County, as a whole, embodies many of the criteria Buettner identifies as necessary for civic happiness.
