POLLUTION FREE EV — Richey Cook of Katy, Texas becomes Green Mountain Energy Company’s first Pollution Free EVsm electricity customer. Pollution Free EV is the first pollution free electricity product in Texas created exclusively for electric vehicle (EV) drivers because EVs cannot be completely emissions-free unless they are charged at home with emissions-free electricity. Mr. Cook charges a Nissan Leaf with his new eVgo home charging station.
As an eVgo customer and Green Mountain’s first Pollution Free EVcustomer, George Cook, a Katy, Texas homeowner, will become one of the state’s first drivers of a 100 percent emissions-free Texas-wind powered vehicle. eVgo recently installed a Smart Home Charging Dock in the Cook garage. The clean energy to power Cook’s home charging station as well as the rest of his house will be provided by Green Mountain. Additionally, through the network of extremely fast public charging stations eVgo is installing throughout Houston, Mr. Cook will be able to travel with complete range confidence for a single low monthly cost.
