Toyota Builds Plugin Electric Hybrid Car

The new 2012 Prius Plug-in Hybrid, which offers seating for five, is expected to achieve a manufacturer-estimated 87 MPGe (miles per gallon equivalent) in combined driving and 49 MPG in hybrid mode. We’ve got your:
• Extended Electric Range
• Selectable EV Mode
• Expected 87 MPGe
• Quick Home Charging
The 2012 Toyota Prius Plug-in Hybrid will allow true EV operation and performance for up to 15 miles at speeds up to 62 mph.

Live Green Connecticut Was a Hit!

This past Saturday I spoke at Live Green Connecticut! Thanks to Scot Weicker and Daphne Dixon, I spoke about issues such as saving money by “going green” to learning how to get a “green” job.
While the discussion was supposed to take place in the Dolce Coffeehouse, I rocked it out on the festival stage instead.
