Nissan e-NV200 electric vehicle
The Nissan introduction of the Nissan e-NV200 electric vehicle brings zero emissions and ultra-low running cost. More notably to the compact van segment.
In addition, Nissan will be the first automaker to have two all-electric vehicles in its global line-up, joining the Nissan LEAF, the world’s best-selling EV.
e-NV200 Light Truck EV
It is possible that the e-NV200 is ready to change the face of light commercial vehicles forever.
The e-NV200’s high performance pure electric drivetrain used in the acclaimed Nissan LEAF. Also, it still has the cargo volume of the NV200.

Rigorous Real-World Testing
Before its market debut, the Nissan e-NV200 underwent an extensive testing program:
- Global Collaboration: Prototype vehicles provided to internationally recognized companies
- Real-World Feedback: Insights gathered from actual usage scenarios
- Refinement Process: Continuous improvements based on user experiences
With this thorough development process complete, the e-NV200 stands ready to enter the market, promising to redefine the electric LCV segment.
Reimagining the NV200 for an Electric Future
Nissan has taken a bold step in creating its first pure electric Light Commercial Vehicle (LCV). The e-NV200 isn’t just an electrified version of its predecessor; it’s a significant re-engineering feat. While it borrows key elements from the LEAF and NV200, about 30 percent of its components are unique to this model.
Key Enhancements:
- Styling Overhaul: Fresh design elements tailored for its electric identity
- Chassis Upgrade: Re-engineered for optimal electric performance
- Interior Revisions: Adapted for the needs of electric vehicle operation
- New Battery Pack: Ensuring efficient power delivery and range
- Enhanced Regenerative Braking: Higher capacity system for improved energy recovery
A Game-Changer for Business Mobility
The e-NV200 is poised to revolutionize not just mobility but also business operations for companies relying on small vans, people movers, or taxis. Its zero-emission capability offers a dual advantage:
- Exciting Driving Experience: Leveraging electric powertrain benefits
- Cost-Effective Operations: Lower running costs compared to traditional LCVs
Sustainability as a Business Asset
By choosing the e-NV200, businesses aren’t just selecting a vehicle; they’re making a statement. The van’s eco-friendly nature reflects positively on a company’s commitment to sustainability, potentially enhancing its market image and appeal.
Available in June
When sales start in June, e-NV200 will be available as a van or as a five-seat people carrier in Combi or more luxurious Evalia guises. Although mainly targeted at businesses, e-NV200 will also appeal to private users with large families.
Finally, the e-NV200’s homologated NEDC range (170kms) is greater than the average 100km daily driving distance of over half the fleets who utilise this class of van and the payload and cargo area is the same as NV200’s.
