First of its kind renewable energy-themed art installation lights up iconic Eiffel Tower on the day of global climate marches and eve of COP21 UN conference

PARIS (NOVEMBER 29, 2015) The night before the long-awaited COP21 negotiations in Paris, and the day over 2300 climate marches took place around the world, artistic messages advocating climate change solutions lit up the famous Eiffel Tower in Paris.
First of its kind renewable energy-themed art installation lights up iconic Eiffel Tower on the day of global climate marches and eve of COP21 UN conference  Inaugural lighting event MC’d by Academy Award-winning actress, Marion Cotillard.  That's including speeches from UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon and more.  PARIS (NOVEMBER 29, 2015) The night before the long-awaited COP21 negotiations in Paris, and the day over 2300 climate marches took place around the world, artistic messages advocating climate change solutions lit up the famous Eiffel Tower in Paris.

Created by artist Naziha Mestaoui, the series of inspiring images called for a shift to 100% renewable energy and the protection of the world’s forests.  Moreover, and were projected onto the full façade of Paris’s most iconic landmark. The installation, “1 Heart 1 Tree,” aims to engage citizens and help drive an ambitious global deal at COP21. Following the November 13 attacks in Paris, the artist also incorporated messages of unity and hope, and the hashtag #NousSommesUnis.

The projection was launched at an event next to the Eiffel Tower on Sunday night.

That’s also featuring speeches from UN Secretary General Ban Ki-Moon.  Finally celebrity ambassador Marion Cotillard, and the artist Naziha Mestaoui.

In conclusion, Global campaigning organization Avaaz joined the event to represent over 3.6 million people.  All who have signed a petition calling for a 100% clean energy world. Finally, Executive Director Ricken Patel said: "From millions of people in the streets, to leaders in summit rooms, to experts from all disciplines.  Because everyone is calling for one clear answer.  I mean the only answer!! That's to resolve climate change toward a transition to 100% clean energy. Paris must commit to it."

Petitions Signed
