In recent years, the company has faced a number of controversies. For that’s ranging from its manufacturing practices and working conditions. All to the behavior of its CEO, Elon Musk.

In 2018, a report by The Guardian claimed that Tesla had higher injury rates at its factory in Fremont, California than the industry average. So that the company had underreported injuries to regulators. Tesla denied the allegations. All saying that the report was “dramatically wrong” and that it was committed to the safety of its employees.

Elon

Another controversy that has plagued Tesla is the behavior of its CEO, Elon Musk. Musk has been known to make controversial statements on social media and has faced criticism for his management style. In 2018, he faced backlash for a tweet in which he suggested that he had secured funding to take Tesla private, leading to an investigation by the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).
