Rachel Gutter of the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) explains how greening school campuses can rally a new generation of “sustainability natives”. This can and will offer hope for climate future.
As reported before, the Garrison Institute is holding the Climate, Buildings and Behavior symposium October 8 – 10 in Garrison, New York.
The building sector accounts for over 40% of US GHG, and building emissions and performance are largely determined by the behavior of the people in them. This national symposium is an important exploration of what works to optimize behavior in buildings, save energy and carbon, and build thriving, resilient communities.
